On February 28, Misako Promotions announced a change to the co-main event of the “Diamond Glove” show scheduled for April 14 at Korakuen Hall. Toshiki Kawamitsu (Misako), the reigning Japanese Light Flyweight / Junior Flyweight champion, will now make his first title defence against the JBC No. 2 ranked Daiki Kameyama (Watanabe).
In a further development, Misako Promotions confirmed that the main event between Japanese Super Flyweight / Junior Secondweight champion Jinya Yamaguchi (Misako) and Kyotaro Yoshida (Watanabe) has gained international significance. The vacant OPBF (Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation) title will also be contested, making it a “Two-Crown” dual championship bout.
