ユンの持つS・ミドル級2冠に再びアタックする森脇
The OPBF & WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title match will be a direct rematch of their meeting last December. Yuito Moriwaki (World Sports), who scored a knockdown against champion Yun Deok No (South Korea) in their first encounter only for the fight to end in a technical draw in the fourth round due to injury, has been granted another opportunity.
Having turned professional after a distinguished amateur career that included competing in the Tokyo Olympics, Moriwaki has publicly declared his dream is “to become the best super middleweight fighter in the world,” making this rematch a must-win stepping stone.
While he has already gauged Yun’s capabilities—noting that “he had more power and boxing skill than I expected”—Moriwaki is not dwelling on the fact that he was leading on the scorecards through the third round last time. He stated that he is approaching the bout with the mindset that “this time is different.”
