WBA light flyweight ‘super’ champ Kyoguchi has medical checkups+

Mar 08, 2021 9:42 am

Undefeated World Boxing Association light flyweight ‘’super’’ champion Hiroto Kyoguchi of Watanabe Boxing Gym, who is in Dallas in the state of Texas for his title defense against Axel Aragon Vega of Mexico in the city on March 13 (14 Japan time), had medical checkups, including a blood test and an ocular fundus examination, on March 6.

There was nothing abnormal detected, according to the gym.

After the examination, Kyoguchi ran on a treadmill and pedaled on an exercise bicycle in a gymnasium inside the hotel.

‘’Thanks to the Dallas Japanese association and other staff members from Japan, I was able to spend the day relaxed. I am determined to boost the moral from tomorrow again targeting the fight at the end of next week,’’ Kyoguchi was quoted as saying. Photo by Watanabe Boxing Gym
