Highest priced tickets for June 7 fight between ‘Monster’ Inoue and Donaire sold out

Apr 28, 2022 11:04 am

The most expensive tickets for the title unification fight between World Boxing Association ‘’super’’ and International Boxing Federation bantamweight champion Naoya ‘’The Monster’’ Inoue of Ohashi Boxing Gym and World Boxing Council bantamweight ruler Nonito Donaire of the Philippines on June 7 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture have been sold out, the gym said in announcing its current selling situation on April 27.

The ticket for a special ringside seat is priced at 220,000 yen (about 1,710 dollars), equal to the price of the world middleweight title unification fight between WBA middleweight ‘’super’’ champion Ryota Murata of Teiken Boxing Gym and IBF middleweight kingpin Gennadiy Gennadyevich Golovkin of Kazakhstan held at the same place on Apr. 9.

The 29-year-old Inoue has been engaged in physical training and conditioning with his brother Takuma and cousin Hiroki Inoue in Nagano Prefecture’s Shinshu, central Japan, under the guidance of the gym’s trainer Akira Yaegashi, a former triple world champion.
