Dec 24, 2020 18:55 pm

Undefeated World Boxing Association light flyweight super champion Hiroto Kyoguchi of Watanabe Boxing Gym has concluded a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing of England, Matchroom said on Dec. 23 in its homepage.

Hearn said, ‘’As we continue our global expansion, we welcome our first Japanese world champion to Matchroom and look forward to our first show there in 2021.’’ Eddy Reynoso, known as a trainer of Saul ‘’Canelo’’ Alvarez of Mexico, will serve as Kyoguchi’s manager, according to the homepage.

For his part, kyoguchi commented, ‘’I am confident that I will give it my all and show honor in this sport as a proud Japanese world champion,’’

Matchroom, buttressed by DAZN, a sports streaming platform, is regarded as one of the world’s foremost promotion entities. It advanced into the United States in 2017 by establishing Matchroom USA while concluding deals with popular boxers.
