Ohashi Promotion will stage ‘’Phoenix Battle in Seoul’’ on Nov. 19 at Gangnam Fashion Event Center Hall in the capital city in cooperation with Seoul’s Won Promotions to vivify the boxing world not only in Japan and South Korea but also in Philippines and Thailand to seek synergies, Ohashi Boxing Gym said on Sept. 16.

While no Japanese boxers will take part in the event this time, Hideyuki Ohashi, head of the gym, said, ‘’Though Japan, Philippines and Thailand are leading the Asian boxing scene at present, joining of South Korea in this respect would further vivify the boxing scene in the (Asian) region.’’

Japan will send boxers from next year, according to Ohashi.
