All the six boxers taking part in the Jan. 23 event called ‘’Prime Video Presents Live Boxing 6’’ at EDION Arena Osaka cleared official weigh-ins at an Osaka hotel on Jan. 22, thereby setting the stage for their respective fights.

World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association light flyweight champion Kenshiro Teraji of B.M.B. Boxing Gym tipped the scales at 48.7 kg (107.4 lbs), while top-ranked WBA light flyweight Carlos Canizales of Venezuela weighed in at 48.8 kg.   Teraji will make his fourth defense of the WBC title and his third for the WBA crown. The fight will serve as the main event of the extravaganza.

Meanwhile, Kickboxer-turned Tenshin Nasukawa of Teiken Boxing Gym, ranked seventh in the Japanese super bantamweight division, tipped the scales at 54.8 kg in a scheduled eight-round nontitle bout. It will be Nasukawa’s third fight since becoming a professional boxer last April.

His opponent Luis Robles of Mexico, ranked 14th by the World Boxing Organization in the bantamweight division, weighed in at 54, 2 kg. Both will fight at the catch weight of 54.88 kg or 121 pounds, only a pound less than the super bantamweight weight limit. The fight will serve as the chief supporting card of the event.

Undefeated WBA flyweight champion Artem Dalakian of Ukraine、who is making his seventh defense of the title he won in 2018, weighed in at 50,4 kg, while top-ranked challenger Seigo ‘’Yuri’’ Akui of Kurashiki Moriyasu Boxing Gym tipped the scales of the class limit of 50.8 kg.
