Oct 14, 2021 10:43 am

A pair of amateur-turned southpaws of Teiken Boxing Gym will fight in the United States’ Kissimmee, Florida, on Oct. 29 (30 Japan time), their first professional bouts overseas, the Tokyo-based gym said on Oct. 13 in its official website.

While their opponents have yet to be decided, the 26-year-old Mikito Nakano, who has five straight wins, including four knockouts after turning pro in October 2018, is expected to have an eight-round bout.

As for the 27-year-old Fujita, who made a debut in March this year with a TKO victory after more than 170 amateur bouts, will have a six-round match, according to the site.
