Kickboxer-turned Tenshin Nasukawa of Teiken Boxing Gym was ranked eighth in the super bantamweight division of the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation, the OPBF said on Apr. 13.

The 24-year-old Nasukawa pounded out a six-round lopsided decision over second-ranked Japanese bantamweight Yuki Yonaha of Shinsei Boxing Gym in his debut as a professional boxer on Apr. 8 in Tokyo.
Former K-1 fighter Yoshiki Takei of Ohashi Boxing Gym is the reigning OPBF super bantamweight champion.
Nasukawa is also likely to be ranked in the Japanese ranking in a short time.
