Oct 08, 2020 12:23 pm

Undefeated Japanese super lightweight Andy Hiraoka of Japan will take on American Rickey Edwards on the undercard of World Boxing Association super and International Boxing Federation bantamweight champion Naoya ‘’Monster’’ Inoue’s defense of the titles at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Oct. 31 (Nov. 1 Japan time), Ohashi Boxing Gym said on Oct. 16.

It will be the 24-year-old Hiraoka’s second fight in Las Vegas as he stopped Rogelio Casarez of the U.S. in the second round last November under a contract with Top Rank Inc. Hiraoka, ranked first in the Japanese super lightweight division and is now fighting out of Ohashi Gym, has 15 straight wins, including 10 knockouts, while the 30-year-old Edwards has a 12-4 win-loss record, including three KOs.
