The head of Taiwan’s TOPTEAM-IP Boxing promotions has recently visited Japan Boxing Commission to deepen ties between both sides.

According to Taiwanese promoter Peter Hung, who is a graduate of Tokyo University, he has addressed himself to nurturing the Taiwanese boxing world from the ground up despite the COVID-19 bruhaha.
Hung said in a fluent Japanese Taiwan has a good potential in this respect.

JBC officials quoted Hung as saying he is thinking about launching ‘’Taiwan rookies’ event a la Japanese rookies’ tournament. He is said to be thinking about staging four to five professional boxing events a year in Taiwan, according to the officials.
