Yoshiki Takei of Ohashi Boxing Gym, who has two straight wins since turning pro this March after fighting as a K-1 fighter, has recently sealed a management contract with P&M LAB, a company engaged in the transportation of light freight and athletic management, etc. run by former three-division world champion Akira Yaegashi, according to the gym.
Yaegashi is a former Ohashi gym boxer and is currently serving as a personal trainer of Takei.
The 25-year-old Takei, a former K-1 World GP super bantamweight champion, said, ‘’With this management deal as a launching pad, I am determined to become stronger day by day aiming at winning a world title.’’
For his part, Yaegashi said, ‘’While it is my mission to make Takei stronger in the ring, I would also like to contribute to his aim outside the ring as well.’’
