Heavyweight Tajima decks Venezuelan Ocando in 1st round, extending unbeaten streak to 10

  Japanese heavyweight champion Mitsuro Brandon Tajima of KWORLD3 Boxing Gym Knocked out Williams Ocando of Venezuela in the first round on Oct. 7 in Tokyo, extending his unbeaten streak to 10 since making his debut in April last year.

  The end of the scheduled eight-rounder at Ota City General Gymnasium came 2 minutes and 9 seconds into the round when the 28-year-old Tajima dropped Ocando for the count with a left hook to the body followed by a barrage of left and right combinations.

  With the victory, Tajima, who has been fighting every month since this past June, has10 KOs, while the 35-year-old Ocando fell to a 24-12-1 win-loss-draw tally with 20 KOs.

  The fight was held as one of the undercards of ‘’3150FIGHT vol.7’’ promoted by Koki Kameda, the president of Kameda Promotion Co.
