All the six boxers taking part in a triple world title bill called ‘’Prime Video Presents Live Boxing 7‘’at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena cleared the weigh-ins at Tokyo Dome Hotel on Feb. 23 for their respective bouts the following day.

  World Boxing Association bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue of Ohashi Boxing Gym, who is making his first defense of the title he won last April, and ninth-ranked challenger Jerwin Ancajas of the Philippines both tipped the scales at 53.4 kgs (117.7 lbs).

  The 28-year-old Inoue, a younger brother of his stablemate Naoya ‘’the Monster’’ Inoue, has a record of 18 wins, including four knockouts, against a loss, while the 32-year-old Ancajas, who was a former International Boxing Federation’s world super flyweight champion and successfully defended the title nine times, has a 34-3-2 win-loss-draw tally with 23 KOs.

　The scheduled 12-round fight will serve as the main event of the evening.

  Meanwhile, World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Alexandro Santiago of Mexico weighed in at 53.4 kgs against top-ranked challenger Junto Nakatani of M.T Boxing Gym’s 53.3 kgs (117.5 lbs) or 200 grams below the bantamweight limit.

  Though the 28-year-old Santiago, who is making his first defense of the title he captured by decisioning Nonito Donaire of the Philippines last July, failed to clear the weigh-in in his first attempt, he managed to make it in his second attempt as he weighed in completely naked.

  Santiago has a 28-3-5 win-loss-draw record with 14 KOs. The undefeated Nakatani has a record of 26 wins, 19 by KO.

  The World Boxing Organization’s top-ranked super flyweight Kosei Tanaka of Soul Box Hatanaka Boxing Gym, a former three-division world champion who will vie for the WBO’s vacant super flyweight crown with second-ranked Christian Bacasegua of Mexico, went 52.0 kgs (114.6 lbs). Bacasegua also tipped the scales at 52.0 kgs.

  The 28-year-old Tanaka, gunning for becoming Japan’s third boxer to win world titles in four different weight divisions following the current WBA super flyweight champion Kazuto Inoka of Shisei Boxing Gym and undisputed world super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue, has a 19-1 win-loss tally with 11 KOs.  Bacasegua, 26, has a record of 22 wins, including nine KOs, against four losses and two draws.
