World Boxing Association sixth-ranked super bantamweight Tomoki ‘’El Mexicanito’’ Kameda of 3150 (Saiko) Fight Club will face WBA’s 10th-ranked Yonfrez Parejo of Venezuela in Mexico’s Hermosillo on Dec. 4 to determine the challenger for the reigning super champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev of Uzbekistan, the club said on Oct. 17.

The 30-year-old Tomoki, the youngest of the so-called ‘’three Kameda brothers,’’ has a record of 37 wins, including 20 knockouts, against three losses. He won the World Boxing Organization bantamweight title in 2013 and successfully defended the title three times. After losing the title, he captured the World Boxing Council’s super bantamweight interim title in 2018. But Tomoki lost to Rey Vargas of Mexico in the title unification match in July 2019.

Tomoki returned to the ring in May this year by decisioning Hironori Miyake of Big Arm Boxing Gym in Osaka.
