Nov 28, 2021 20:57 pm

International Boxing Federation’s fifth-ranked bantamweight Aran Dipaen of Thailand arrived in Japan in the afternoon of Nov. 28 in preparation for his challenge against Naoya ‘’Monster’’ Inoue of Ohashi Boxing Gym for the latter’s IBF and World Boxing Association’s bantamweight ‘’super’’ world titles on Dec. 14 in Tokyo, the gym said the same day.

The scheduled 12-rounder will be staged at Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena.
After going through a voluntary quarantine, the 30-year-old Dipaen will engage himself in the final adjustment for his first world title challenge.
The upcoming fight will be the 28-year-old Inoue’s sixth defense of the WBA title and his fourth of the IBF crown.

Dipaen once fought in Japan as he stopped Ryohei Arakawa of JB Sports in June 2019.
Dipaen, also ranked eighth in the division by the WBA, has 12 wins, including 11 knockouts, and two defeats. For his part, Inoue has 21 straight wins, including 18 KOs. Video by Ohashi Boxing Gym
